Breathe

A very fun project in Design 139; illustrate a word thorough sculpture. Mine was 'Breathe' We had to show the word as a concept in an abstract way -nothing too literal, but without making it totally inaccessible.

The base is about 20 in. square, and under 18 in. high. I used wire, and wax painted over clear balloons with a brush.

One day, I want to make more. These turned out very well, and I loved them...but unfortunately, they were damaged during the mad rush to get portfolios handed in. Popped balloon = bad. Have to find a way to make them less 'fragile.'
